Larry Hoepfner, an high-ranking executive with the Blue Jackets' business operations department since 2005, is leaving the organization, effective immediately, to "pursue other opportunities outside the organization," according to a brief release issued by the club today.Hoepfner was executive vice president of business operations, serving under president of business operations Mike Priest."On behalf of everyone at the Blue Jackets and the numerous individuals throughout our business community that have worked with Larry over the past 11 years, I want to thank him for his dedication and tireless work on behalf of our organization," Priest said in the statement.
