COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets begin preparations for their 16 th National Hockey League season with the opening of training camp, presented by OhioHealth, on Thursday, September 22.Players will report for physicals at McConnell Spine, Sport and Joint Center beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 22 with fitness testing to follow at Nationwide Arena.The team will conduct off-ice workouts and on-ice testing on Friday, September 23 at Nationwide Arena and the OhioHealth Ice Haus with the first team on-ice practices and scrimmages slated for Saturday, September 24 in both rinks.Teams 1 and 4 will be on the ice between 9 a.m.-noon at the OhioHealth Ice Haus, while Teams 2 and 3 will skate in Nationwide Arena between 1-4 p.m.During training camp, all practice sessions will be open to the public (see full schedule below).Fans should enter at McConnell Street, next to the Big Lots Box Office for all practice sessions.
