COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of the reasons why the Sharks had the best road record in the NHL last season was their ability to stay composed when things weren't exactly going as planned.That experience came in handy Saturday, as the Sharks were on their heels for most of the third period but did just enough to walk away from Nationwide Arena with a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.Mikkel Boedker, Joel Ward and Patrick Marleau all scored and goalie Martin Jones made 26 saves, including 12 in the third period, as the Sharks opened their five-game road trip against Eastern Conference teams on a positive, albeit fortunate, note.
